Homework for Holidays - mock exam preparation


Homework for the Holiday

 

1. Complete all parts of the PowerPoint except the evaluation- remember there are help sheets at the bottom of the power point 

 

2 . Email your work to me by the 4th January so I can give you email feedback

3. Practice your dish at home

 

4 . First day back bring in the ingredients and recipe to make part of your practical 
assessment - you won't have time to do it all
You are expected to set up at lunchtime  

 

6 . Monday  13th January bring the printed out power point into class for peer assessment ( not the evaluation) .You should already have made the improvements suggested in my feedback 

7. You will be given your practical exam date at the beginning of next term

Ingredients for Tuesday 17th December


Frittata

1 0nion
1/2 courgette
1/2 red or yellow pepper
1 medium potato
3  large eggs
50g cheese


you can substitute the courgette for different vegetables

Access the mock exam folder in the Q drive

Q drive/departments/food studies/ GCSE catering/ mock exam.

Complete the planning stages for the mock exam by downloading the power point consisting of the planning power point and notes.
 
Complete as many planning pages as you are able, use the notes at the bottom to help you.
 
Remember some of the planning sheets are in the appendix.
 
You can use the nutrition program on any school computer  in next weeks lesson
 
Make sure the power point is available on the computer for next weeks lesson, so you can be given individual feedback.
 

There are several pieces of information in the folder to help you, Speak to me if you require further help.

75 g. caster sugar

75 g. S.R. flour

 

2 Tablespoons  jam/ chocolate spread or lemon curd ( not nuttella)
